WHAT is an AmBIZADOR?

A VGCD AmBizADOR is a campus ambassador for VGCD Academy, who shares his/her/their LOVE/ for VGCD’s vision (of teaching young people the BUSINESS & DESIGN behind the world’s most beloved AAA video games) on Social Media and In Person.

WHY VGCD?

VGCD was founded by Michael Chang, a 24-year veteran of corporate American companies creating iconic products (AutoCAD, Yahoo!, Oracle, RuneScape, and more.) Its instructors include ENTREPRENEURS who have raised Millions AND seen successful EXITS, and Game professionals who have shipped over $1 BILLION in games.

WHAT IS STUDIO SHOWDOWN?

STUDIO SHOWDOWN is VGCD’s flagship education board game. It is D&D (roleplay as a Studio CEO) meets CASHFLOW (to manage cash resources & burn) meets SHARK TANK (pitching for Capital).

HOW does VGCD help the COMMUNITY?

VGCD helps your LOCAL FBLA/DECA/Model UN, SCHOOL/College Community by integrating 21stCentury INDUSTRY& RESULTS-focused learning into the Learning by Doing & Leadership Development program. VGCD’S Games & WORKSHOPS create RESULTS in 3 Pathways:

Career in Games
Entrepreneurship
4-Year College

VGCD only cares about FUN& RESULTS. STUDIO SHOWDOWN received a 9/10 RECOMMEND INTENT @2024 FBLA National NLC. PROOFPOINTS:

GAME CAREEER: VGCD Alum David Alcaraz was accepted into USC Games, the #1 Game Production program in America.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Alum IAN BROCK received a $100K fellowship and was named a 2023 Fellow of the Peter Thiel Foundation

Who is ELIGIBLE? How to get Started?

To be ELIGIBLE, applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED

Rising Grades 7-12,
Recent high school graduates
Current 1st-2nd-3rd-4th Year
College Students OR recent College Graduates
AND have played STUDIO SHOWDOWN the game and/or participated in ONE or more VGCD workshops.
