For today’s college students, this turbulence isn’t just background noise, -it’s the playing field. And that’s exactly where the Guild of Founders steps in.
The Problem We’re Solving
Gen Z isn’t content to wait for opportunity. They’re 1.6X more likely than other generations to want to launch their own business. But most traditional programs aren’t designed for them. College lectures can feel detached from reality, and too often, students graduate without the portfolio, mentorship, or network they need to compete in today’s market.
Meanwhile, the industries Gen Z cares about—gaming, entertainment, creative tech—are notoriously hard to break into. The pipeline is crowded, but the rules are rarely written down.
WHY US?
The Guild of Founders was built by practitioners who’ve already navigated this terrain. Our team of executives and instructors includes veterans behind hits like RuneScape, FIFA, Dragon Age, MARVEL Strike Force, Pac Man Mobile, and Monopoly Go, alongside entrepreneurs who’ve raised millions in capital, scaled startups, and exited successfully. This isn’t theory—it’s the same playbook they used to build companies and careers at the highest level.
And our track record speaks for itself. Alumni from our broader programs have earned admission into USC Games, Princeton Engineering, and even secured $100K Peter Thiel Foundation Fellowships.
Why Now?
The job market is shifting under our feet. Even Fortune 1000 juggernauts like Google and Apple are under the microscope for Anti-Trust and Anti-Competition. Corporate hiring is tightening, yet gaming and higher education are both booming. For students, this creates an unusual moment of opportunity: the chance to invest in building a portfolio that sets them apart, whether they’re applying to top universities, hunting for their first studio role, or pitching investors.
The Guild of Founders meets that moment head-on. Students choose one of two tracks, Game Development or Entrepreneurship, and are guided by seasoned experts who have shipped games and closed venture rounds worth billions.
What Makes It Different
Rather than textbooks, the Guild of Founders runs like a 10-week role-playing campaign. Each module is designed as a game world, whether you’re conducting market research in a “Galactic Census,” dueling investors in “Capital Clash,” or navigating brand storytelling in the “Launch Sandbox”. Students leave not just with knowledge, but with a polished pitch deck, a 30-second promo video, and a business plan that could land real investment or internship opportunities.
This isn’t gamification for its own sake—it’s training for real stakes. The final “Boss Pitch Battle” places students before actual investors and industry leaders, where real funding, scholarships, and internships are on the line.
The Value
At its core, the Guild of Founders gives Gen Z a bridge: from passion to profession, from college to career. It’s about transforming screen time into portfolio time, and ambition into actionable results.
If you’re a student who dreams bigger than a 9-to-5 job description, or an educator who wants to prepare your students for the realities of tomorrow’s economy, the Guild of Founders is your gateway.
